Terms of Service

By creating a SnapTik account or using the SnapTik service (“Service”) you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use SnapTik.

SnapTik is operated from Australia by SnapTik Pty Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”).

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By creating an account you represent that you are at least 13, that the information you provide is accurate, and that you will keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.

SnapTik is for recording, polishing, and sharing short personal videos. When you use the Service, you agree not to:

• Upload illegal content, including content that infringes another person’s rights or violates any law.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
• Record or share intimate images without the consent of the people shown.
• Upload content involving minors in a sexual, violent, or exploitative manner.
• Use SnapTik to send spam, scams, or unsolicited commercial messages.
• Attempt to circumvent daily limits, scrape the Service, reverse-engineer our systems, or interfere with anyone else’s use of SnapTik.
• Use SnapTik to distribute malware, phishing links, or other harmful code.

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these rules and, if necessary, to suspend or terminate your account.

You own your videos. SnapTik never acquires ownership of anything you record. You retain all rights, title, and interest in the videos and other content you create on SnapTik.

To operate the Service, you grant SnapTik a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, encode, and deliver your content back to you and to the people you share it with. This license exists only for the purpose of running the Service; we do not license your videos to third parties or use them for advertising.

This license ends when you delete your content or close your account, subject to the retention schedule in the Privacy Policy (backups rotate out on a 30-day cycle).

SnapTik has a free plan (one video per day, watermarked) and a paid “Pro” plan.

• Price: AUD $49 per month, charged on a recurring monthly basis.
• Processor: Stripe processes all card payments on our behalf. You authorise us to charge the payment method on file on the first day of each billing period.
• Cancel anytime: you can cancel from Settings at any time. Your Pro access stays active until the end of the current billing period; we do not charge you again after cancellation.
• Refunds: we do not offer refunds for partial months. If you were incorrectly charged, email billing@snaptik.app and we’ll sort it out.
• Price changes:we’ll email you at least 30 days before any price change takes effect.

The free plan is available indefinitely, subject to fair use. If we ever retire the free plan, we’ll give registered users at least 30 days’ notice by email. A watermark is burned into videos recorded on the free plan; upgrading to Pro removes the watermark from future videos (previously recorded videos are not automatically re-processed).

By you: delete your account anytime from Settings, or email hello@snaptik.app. Your content is removed according to the retention schedule in our Privacy Policy.

By us:we may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if your activity creates a risk to the Service or other users. For non-serious issues we’ll try to warn you first and give you a chance to remediate.

The SnapTik name, logo, app, website, and underlying software are owned by SnapTik Pty Ltd and are protected by copyright and trade-mark law. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

If you believe content on SnapTik infringes your copyright, email copyright@snaptik.app with:

• A description of the work you believe is infringed.
• A link (or other identifier) to the allegedly infringing material on SnapTik.
• Your name, address, phone, and email.
• A good-faith statement that the use is not authorised.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you’re authorised to act for the rights holder.
• Your electronic or physical signature.

Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.

SnapTik is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don’t promise that the Service will always be available, that your videos will process instantly, or that we will never have an outage.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any guarantee, warranty, or right that is non-excludable under the Australian Consumer Law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnapTik’s total liability to you arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid SnapTik in the 12 months before the claim arose or (b) AUD $100.

SnapTik will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we’ll notify registered users by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after that date means you accept the updated Terms. If you don’t accept them, please close your account before the change takes effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute that can’t be resolved by the parties will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
